What’s This?

I learned something about my head today. Over the last two years my hair has suddenly become frizzy. It’s frustrating. After trying anti-frizz sprays and cremes and changing shampoos, I finally realized that all I could do was blow dry my hair and run a curling iron (or a straightener now that I have one, thanks to Jess!) through it, which mostly took care of it. Well, today I didn’t really have time for all that. Well, I did. But I didn’t choose to redeem the time with hair matters…The computer beckoned. Anyways. Instead I rummaged around in an old toiletry bag looking for some anti-frizz spray, and found some cream gel that was supposed to be applied to damp hair, which is what I had. I figured I’d try it, and oh heavens! I never knew I had a full head of wavy hair just waiting for some cream-gelled direction. Amazing. And it smells good too! I don’t know what happened to my stick-straight hair from days gone by. I’m going to try it again tomorrow just to make sure it wasn’t a fluke.
Ummm, do frogs hibernate?

Hey, I thought you were home schooled! Yes, they hibernate. Weird, huh? They swim to the bottom and hibernate all winter.
I, myself, like frizzy hair because frizzy hair = big hair and I am a sucker for big hair.

Isn’t it lovely? Hair cream is a life-saver … er, hair-saver. Anyway, the point is, I use it all the time. OK, I’ll stop blathering now. 🙂

Hey Coie,
I had straight hair until I had kids (we’ll leave out those unfortunate high school “perm years”). Now it’s curly. Go figure. Enjoy your new look (and hello? pictures, please!).

My mama always told me that if only had smart-aleck things to say, then I ought to just keep my mouth shut. And even though I never listened to her, today I’ve decided to take her good advice. And you’re lucky because I have all *sorts* of good smart-alecky material for this one.
Annemarie — You are such a nerdy know-it-all. PS I think I still have your one cookie platter plate. I promise I will get it back to you in a semi-timely manner.

My hair started to curl once I had my daughter. I tried everything when I was younger to make it curl….including a perm…and I got nothing. The good thing is that semi-curly hair looks really cute in a pony tail. It’s like you did something even if you didn’t.
*Snort* Jen I just changed my voice mail message to say that all calls to the house will be returned in a semi-timely manner.

What a homeschoolie question, Co.
Even *I* know the answer to that:
Yes, they hibernate. Weird, huh? They swim to the bottom and hibernate all winter.
I’m so funny. I crack me up.
Oooooooooooooooooooooh, I’m a lucky fella, I’m a lucky boy, I got a new umbrella, and it’s me proid and joy-OI! I got a new umbrella!
THANKS for going to take us to Grace tomorrow!!!

Oh, and I’m just kidding, I’m not a boy and I didn’t get a new umbrella.

Now that you have a straightener, sounds like you need a crimper.
