Freeway Buddies

First off, I’m freezing. Anything below 30 degrees should have never been invented. If we at least had snow, I might not complain. Moving on.
During my 30-something mile drive to work Tuesday through Saturday, I typically pass a selection of the same people on the freeway. And lately I’ve been tempted to start waving at them, since, heavens, we are practically buddies. We drive past each other e.v.e.r.y.d.a.y. But then I had second thoughts. What if their superior driving skills prevent them from noticing that they pass me every morning. Then they would just think I was psycho. Ah well.
I think that for the month of January, gas prices should correspond with the date, yes? Yes.

I used to honk and wave at random parking lots when I was your age. Granted I did it to embarrass my mom, who was riding in the passenger’s seat…. but nobody can resist somebody waving at them with a big dorky smile on their faces.
They don’t want to be rude and NOT wave, for fear you are someone they DO know and they just didn’t recognize you. muahaha

UM, that was supposed to say at random PEOPLE in parking lots.
Not random parking lots.
Those don’t wave back.
Not that I tried.
Really.
(I think I need some caffeine.)

Melonie’s comment made me laugh out loud.. you know, with those waving parking lots and all.

No snow is a GOOD thing. I mean, it’s pretty for the first 2 hours, but then it’s dirty and wet. I think that makes me officially old now, being a snow party pooper.
I am so glad you are blogging again. I thought that you had gone to imaginary land since I never SEE you anymore.
