I’m sick right now with a cold and a sore throat. I usually like being sick, but this time….I’ve just got too much to accomplish in the next 8 days to be sick! I have to finish my outfit for our party, make mom a skirt, and help Ryann finish her dress. Oh yes, and we still have to figure out what we’ll be doing about cake. AND I need to remember all the steps for Scottish Country Dancing. Boy oh boy, I’ve got my work cut out.
My goat was due on Sunday but she still has not produced any young’uns. AUNT SPIFFY told me, "Well, Friday’s a full moon. Maybe your goat and I will both go into labor that day!" We’ll see.
Many thanks to the Burggraf’s who gave us a great supply of chicken soup, crackers, oranges, and herbal teas. Gee, I like Mrs. B.
Oh yes, I will post directions on how to put your hair up the way my avatar shows very soon (like, maybe after the party when I have to do it like that again).
Alright, I must make myself a lovely cup of English Tea now.

What about strawberry shortcake for your birthday? Kaitlyn has had it for several of her birthdays. I know strawberries are not in season in February (kaitlyn' bday is in JUNE), but you could thaw some frozen berries…
One caution… can't really make up this dessert in advance… must make it when ready to serve… or you can make mini shortcakes and each guest can make up their own.

Hi Coie! Love your new do! My daughter, Abbie, has long very curly hair and it takes her about three seconds to get it to look like that. She just wads it up and puts a scrunchie around it and *poof* it looks like she spent two hours on it! I'm so jealous! Did you see her and her sister Leah modeling the pro-life t-shirts? There's a link on my blog. Hope you're feeling some better. I've been told that gargling with apple cider vinegar kills strep – if you can keep from gagging on it. Blessings, Karen

:o)
You have to rest or you will not get better!
Rest at least two days then you will feel better and you will have six days left to accomplish your list of stuff!
Your body needs rest, not to be drained.
My Grandma says the same thing about full moons.
Get better! :o)

Get well soon! I am so sorry your sick.
Thanks for the info on the Southworth book. I am sluggish on my reading these days. I will look for the first book and maybe that is why I haven't really dug into this one. Other than finding those neat pictures — I haven't opened the book much.
We are looking forward to seeing you all next week.
Blessings,
Mrs R-
PS -oh one more thing. When you get a moment can you tell me where the Campground is (e-mail me please) I thought it was the one at the end of my main road. But your momsie said it will be indoors and I don't think that one has a facility that is indoors..

So. . .any goat babies? No baby here. Mark was *very* interested to know how in the world you know that the goat is having triplets. And guess what?!? After totally pigging out on those cookies, which were superb, I did not have a weight gain at all when I went in for my appointment Thursday. That, my friend is astounding.
Thanks for being such a marvelous friend. Truly the Lord knew that I needed that blessing of good company. I am really looking forward to the next bible study.
I am praying that you regain your health. And that the goat delivers all females. 🙂
