Life is nice when you're Cozie

Happy September!

I'm happy that summer is almost over.
The dreary weather that I woke up to brightened my day.  Except
when the internet was down.

My uncle just brought my cousin some McDonald's, which actually looks
good for once.  We've been on a health kick.  I think I
haven't had sugar or white flour for about a week now.  We've been
grinding all of our own flour.  And we grind anything and
everything.  Our last pancake flour consisted of ground red wheat,
white wheat, brown rice, oats, and navy beans.  They tasted great,
but I'm really wanting something unhealthy right now.  We also
made our own noodles for spaghetti.  Yucketti.

And boy oh boy has this healthy food made the line for the bathroom
longer.  I would go into detail, but that would be gauche.
Let's just say we are getting cleaner colons by the minute.

I'm going to go get some iced tea with molasses (since we can't use
sugar) and see if I can steal Lukey's hashbrown.  I'll end with
this thought-

If you were put on trial for being a Christian, would there be enough
evidence to convict you?

  4. YUMMMY….

or not so yummy? That is the question. I like the bottom quote. I hope there would be a lot of evidence. I hope you are doing well.

Welcoem to the world of healthy eating!

Trust me it’s good for you.

You should get some organic cane juice crystals or honey for the tea. We use the crystals since honey is so pricey these days.

Enjoy your healthy eating – it will help you live a healthy life!

Congrats on healthy eating! I went organic and all of my asthma problems are gone. I’m homeschooled too. You can see my blog at

  9. Hey From ME!

That sounds like us only we are always eating stuff like that. You are definitly getting your colons clean. Your body is going through a detoxification time. With you eating all this healthy stuff, your body is taking more of it in and getting rid off the bad.

You will feel so much better when you are done if you don’t now! A really great book for info on this kind of stuff is The Maker’s Diet by Jordan Rubin. I am currently reading it and it is so informative.

    Well enough of my rambling.

How are you? Hope you are having a GREAT weekend!

Just stopping by to say HEY……so……HEY!!

Stop by “The Daily Planet” soon! Read my lastest post: Education. My 2006-2007 Homeschool Year and let me know what you think!

We used to have a grinder clamped onto the counter edge and we cranked that handle round and round…Oh, the memories of stuff we made with that. After no one used if for the last 4 years, we finally took it off the counter yesterday. I can’t let my mom read this post or she might just want to put it back. *bye bye grinder!* Have fun!

  11. Grinding Your Own Flour?

We’ve been doing it for ages now. You can get used to it – it makes a difference.

We tried making our own whole wheat pasta a few years ago (My sister and I took step-by-step photos and added an article about it to our old e-newsletter…I’ve got to dig that file up).

I liked the taste, but the noodles did have a tendency to fall apart because they weren’t like the “playdough” you buy in stores (haha…we do use store bought pasta). But we don’t eat cereal anymore.

    Have you ever heard of

If I was put on trial for being a Christian…I could confess, “I’m a sinner!”…and they could find empirical evidence for that, nonetheless. That would hint a suspiciously Judeo-Christian Worldview, anyway…don’t you suppose?

  12. Hey Coie!

How you doin’, Coie? Oh, I’m fine, just checkin’ in. Did you get Luke’s hashbrown? I like hashbrowns.

    Love you!
