I Feel Siiiiiiiiick
by coie - August 11th, 2006.Filed under: Uncategorized.
We went blueberry picking today for 3
hours and came home with 18 pounds of berries. It was fun but I
feel sick. Either I had too many berries, or my stomach is not
liking my choice of food today. My menu consisted of a piece of
bread and some iced tea for breakfast, pizza for lunch, cheese nips
(generic Cheez-It's) for a snack, hazelnut mocha for my liquid intake,
and about 102 blueberries. I think the last time I inserted that
much junk into my mouth in one day is during our five trips to and from
California and Tennessee. Those days pretty much changed my
entire perspective concerning Triscuits, Squeeze-Cheese, and any drinks
that listed more than “Aqua” in their ingredients.
But today I
remembered what it's like to be in a full van all day long. It
means getting pricked and erased by your 11 yo sister's pencil every 5
seconds, handing out snacks every time you get situated in your seat
and comfy, becoming a human napkin for your 3 yo brother (this includes
having crackers dropped down your clothing during the passing from one
sibling to another), getting kicked in the head by your 6 yo brother
who sits behind you, and giving courtesy laughs to all of the jokes
sputtered out of pure boredom. It's makes me loopy I tell
ya! But I enjoy it. I enjoy it most when everybody falls
asleep or when I'm driving. 😛
We are taking a road trip
next month (YIPPEE!) out to California. We will take 80 on the
way out there, and 40 on the way back. We know some people off of
40 so we will stop and see them. We were also considering hitting
Washington, but it is looking unlikely. I cannot WAIT to see
family and friends, to go camping at our favorite campsite with an
awesome swimming hole, and hit our favorite restaurants. I also
plan on buying about 25 cases of Hansen's Cherry Vanilla Creme soda.
I need to sign off now, but before I leave, I would like everybody to
know that I have used up exactly two whole sticks of deodorant since THIS POST.

I really enjoyed your quote about being the oldest daughter. I was the oldest daughter in my family and prayed that my first child would be a girl so I could have that same relationship with MY daughter that my mom had(and does have) with me! God was gracious and 14 years ago my first child was born…. (purpleprincess) and she is truly becoming as dear a friend to me as she is a second mother to her siblings (especially the two youngest siblings who will often go to her with a problem before they come to me! And the very youngest can’t sleep if her “sissy” is not home!)

Hi. I’m Woody’s friend ( your “twin”.) I’ve also been told a billion times that I look like Susan. And Woody tells me that I look just like you too.

Hey, you should come to Seattle and visit us! Seattle is THE best city in the US. There’s lots of malls and weird people to entertain you.
I went to California last month with my mom, sisters, and one of my brothers… It was alot of fun. What part of CA are you visiting?

To be honest….
I’ve never actually finished a deoderant. About halfway through all of them my mom buys a scent that I like better and the old is cast aside. So, at least you actually finish.

Indeed? Well, I never!
So, ‘Hardy Har Har’ is YOUR phrase huh?(Mine, mine, mine, mine!) Yeah, we’ve seen “Finding Nemo”. It was really well done! And guess who reminds me of us both, yes, yes, Dory the Inescapably Funny, the Short-Term Memory Loss sufferee, and the ‘Just keep swimming’ phrase that always(correction, mostly, according to Marlin) comes out well. Oh, by the way, I am just going to frustrate you by not getting back at you for the whole, ‘Hardy Har Har’ thing, and to top it off, I won’t even give you the pleasure of being able to catch me using it because I WON’T! (evil laugh) Ok, just kidding, you know me. And just to show you my amazing graciousness, I’m going to ask you (Nicely) to PLEASE NOT LEAVE RYANN AT HOME!!! I BEG you to not leave ANYONE at home! Whew-Hew-Ah! (There, now I have a phrase of my own! :P)
Love you! And I can-NOT wait to see you and, even better, you’re going to be out here in time for my B-Day!
Xannahannahdingdong!
God Bless You!

OH, you poor dear!
I know what you mean about the van ride and having a full van. We have 15 passenger but before we had a 7seater and I was on the floor. I was constantly kicked and had to be pick up any snacks that got dropped! I hope you get to feeling better and you have fun on your road trip to CA!
What fun! I have never been to CA and would love to go site seeing….
Have a Blessed Day!
Sincerely,

We went to Eureka and the Redwoods… It was fun, but I had wanted to go to LA or something like that.
