Loopy? No, It's Called a Coie Condition

A lot of people say that I look just like
my mom. Frankly, I don't see much resemblance, but you can be the
judge of that. WHAT SAY YOU?
I'm pretty sure that my family is going loopy from our vast amount of recent APPLE consumption. Honestly, it's awful. And people are making fun of our distress. Like when we had the WILLIAMS
over the other day. Mrs. Williams (Aunt Spiffy) brought us a
“Fresh Apples” sign and Mr. Williams read “Ten Apples Up On Top”.
Hardy har har.
Anyways, back to the loopiness. I walked into the living room a
couple days ago and saw mom and Redhead in a rousing game of “Jungle
Bomb”. Look at THIS.
They set up a total of 50 plastic animals and took turns throwing a
marble at the opponents animals. It's pretty weird but quite
addicting. Only, they play war similiar to the way they had wars
hundreds of years ago. You know, how they all line up and take
turns shooting cannons at each other? Positively no sneaky
military tactics. If I made up the game, it would totally get too
complicated.
Well, that was a pretty short and boring post, but mom said that if I
didn't post something new soon, she was going to puke.

That game looks interesting. I’m not sure how long it would hold my attention though. I am sure my children would love it. Maybe I’ll come up with tsomething like that with all the animals we have hiding in the toybox.

I love that game!
Or at least I used too.
I did it with those green plastic army men. I played it out side so I could dig little holes and build barriers to protect my soldiers from the onslaugt of pebbles and dirt clods rained down upon them by my merciless enemies.

Ryann here-to lazy to log-in
That games gets pretty old…to me, everything gets old after I play it 2-3-4 times every day of the week. That doesn’t apply to mom. LOL.
I’m going to bed hopefully soon. If you realize I go to bed earlier than you, just understand I’m not trying to beat your score. I have to mow tomorrow.
Love you,
Love,

Hey Coie!
How are ya? I’m fine. Yeah, you do look a TON like your momsie! But then, everyone says that about me too….Opinion Wanted Please?(By you) Speaking of my mother, have you seen her latest entry? It’s full to bursting with pictures of us and our trip to the House of Aunt Nancy and Uncle Pat at the amazingly cool, refreshing Delta!(The Delta is a river in CA, just in case you didn’t know…And I know that you’re going to respond to me in a flaming rage over the mere thought that you didn’t know your CA geography! And all I’m going to respond with is: “Temper, temper, Coie!” Heh, heh.) But anyway, love you to peices, I loved that entry, and I’m NOT a lurker like you-know-who!
Love you!

You look like your mom. For sure…
The problem is that I don’t want to wear heart socks with argyle socks. I just don’t feel like it 😀

gee whiz
It just gives my warm fuzzies when someone blogs about me.
And yes, you look exactly like your Momsie. Twins even. Sometimes I almost call you Jen but then I catch that intellectual gleam in your eye, which only comes from being an avid Bronte reader, and I know it is you, Coie the Great.

Those pics are too funny! Y’all don’t look identical but there is definitely a resemblance…especially with your smiles, you both have a great smile!
Ummm…not sure what to say about the jungle bomb game. Man, I must be a boring mommy. First, I would definitely not come up with a game like that. And two, if they did I can’t promise that I’d play along… Water balloons, sloshing through the mud or hide and seek are fine…but plinking marbles at little plastic animals? Not so sure.
Y’all always seem to have lots of fun, though…your house would be such a great place to live!
Love,
Marshie who will most likely play some form of jungle bomb with my boys tomorrow…but maybe with bigger balls and using real life kids instead of plastic animals…now that would be fun!

Quick Introduction of Myself:
New Mommy in TX who found your Mom’s blog, and then yours, in my research on homeschooling:) Love my Lord Jesus, love my sweetie, love my pixie elf baby:)
Love to read.
I noticed in a comment by your Aunt Spiffy that you are an avid Bronte reader. Have you read Villette? If so what do you make of the ambiguous and maddening ending? I’m afraid that “sunny imaginations” are of little use when applied to this particular book ending. I say the poor guy died. But maybe I ‘m just a pessimist? I’d like to know what you think.
And yes, you and your Mom could easily be very lovely twin sisters.

Yah
Well… Your face structure is very similar, but your hair is totally different.
I know what you mean about the “If I made up the game, it would totally get too complicated.” I did and it was. Luckily, I had my younger brother near at hand, so he helped to simplify down to a sane number of rules.
Your blogs great, I need to remember to check it out more oftain.
