Life is nice when you're Cozie

A little about me

Three words I am unable to say are:

Always- I pronounce it “Oh-ways”

Already- I pronounce it “Ardy”

Towel- I pronounce it “Tal”

That's it- my secret is out.  I can only hope that you are not too
utterly ashamed to call me your friend.  Yeah, we've been watching
Anne of Green Gables (the sequel, no less) for the last 3 hours.

On a sidenote, mom found a letter from me that I wrote when I was 7.  It went:

Dear Mom,

I love you.  How are you?  I am doing well in school.  I
can't wait until you are my teacher!  God Bless.  From Coie

    Cute note to your mom!

Sorry you can’t say those words properly. I speak too fast and southern people can’t catch most of what i say. Now that is a problem!!

Hope your all having fun with your cousins.

    Did you read that book?

Better yet, do you know where it is? gfsdkjfhsdhfdsakfhdsfk

  2. HA!

A lot of Americans can’t pronounce “Already” and “Always” and it’s very difficult for me not to laugh!! But I won’t laugh at you because you admitted it!! 🙂

That’s funny! Where do you live? In the south? I love it.

I can’t say these words: RURAL and BREWERY. Of course, living in the ‘burbs doesnt’ give me much opportunity to say the former, but I live in St. Louis and we have the latter. “That’s the Arch, that’s Busch Stadium, that’s the dome, and that’s the BREWERY.” Gah! I can’t say it.

Haha! Those are definitely Southern pronunciations… Have you always lived in the South? I have… here in this silly little state called Georgia. Strangely, I seem to have less of an accent than most. Perhaps if I ever get start a podcast, or get interviewed on Squaretalk, we’ll find out.

Just wanted to let you know that you’ve progressed nicely in your writing since then.

I found a card that I wrote my mom when I was little. It said:

    Dear Mommy,

    You are nice.

    Love,

    Marsha

Yup, I was quite the prolific and eloquent writer even back then!

And yuppers again in that I somehow missed a few posts while I was out of town and e-mail-less.
