First off, the good.

[to be said in a sing song voice]

I got new toothpaste!  I tried to take the last stuff, but when I opened it up, it was transparent green with sparkles.  I tried it anyways and it tasted awful.  So emmi gets it.  I went to good ol' Walmart and picked up a tube of Colgate with baking soda and peroxide and whitening oxygen bubbles. Flavor: Brisk Mint.  Yummy.

I also got a long comfy jean skirt from Christopher & Banks.  Never heard of them before today.

The Bad

I sat at Subway for seven straight hours with country music blaring in my ear writing a process manual for my cousins.  It doesn't get much more boring then that.  I also have evil country song words seared into my brain.

The UG-UH-LY

This is my beautiful 11 year old sister Peachy-Keen on a regular basis.

And this is my beautiful 11 year old sister Peachy-Keen after deciding to “kill bees” with her brothers and getting stung multiple times on the face.

I came home to that on Saturday.  I tried to keep a straight face while she enthusiastically relayed the story.  I couldn't look her straight in the face without cracking a grin.  I felt awful for her, but it's just so funny trying to hold a regular conversation looking at that.  At one point I was about to start drinking a glass of water when I asked, “So HOW did it happen?”.  As she started talking, I fairly snorted into my water and had to walk out of the room.  Poor thing.  Hopefully she's better by tomorrow.  She looks like a little old Japanese lady.

  1. HI 😀

It seems that every time you send me a email your cooky little add under your name grabs a hold of me and sucks me in. Yup … visiting your site once again because you sent me an email. I knew I was pathetic but….wow this is bad.

No, really, I appreciated the email so much and I wanted to know more of how you were doing. I love your site btw. So now that I’ve read all the latest….I have some things to point out. You need to be more careful what you post… you could offend some good old friend of yours just by laughing at your own sister’s braces. If you laugh at your own sister….how much more will you laugh at your old friend. (old in several ways :S) I too should have gotten them years ago….here’s a thanks to mom’s who never think it’s too late! 🙂

This is all for now…..I MISS YOU LIKE MAD!

    Be careful with that toothpaste,

Glad you got some toothpaste you can live with! Personally, the stuff with baking soda makes me gag. blech!

I can’t imagine getting stung in the face! She is definitely a trooper and will totally laugh at these pictures one day really soon (if she isn’t already). Actually, I have never been stung by a bee…I do go outside and stuff, but just haven’t been stung yet. The mere thought of it makes me cringe though…especially since I watched killer bees when I was little (and killer birds, killer ants, killer spiders…).

  3. Horray! Sorry and so sad…

I think I’ve covered everything! I’m glad you got your flip top tooth paste! Your sis looks just like you! I bet she’s happy! I’m glad you got another skirt!

Thanks or answering my qustions… your day seems to be pretty full! Cloth Diapers can be sick but they are better for the inviorment… (Sigh) so that’s why we use them… (sigh again). I hope to see you again! Your face is always welcome in my realm!

Nai haryuvalyë melwa rë (May you have a lovely day)

    Sincerely,

    Jocelyn

I’m glad you got a new thing of toothpaste, sometimes my mom gets the worst kind of toothpaste. Poor thing, I’ll definantly pray that it heels soon. Stop by and say hey soon.

cool that is not far from me! till when are you going to be there?

  7. Indeed she does.

“She looks like a little old Japanese lady.”

Yup, if she had a few wrinkles I’d give her my seat on the bus.

(I’d give a younger woman my seat too but that would be weird and she probably wouldn’t take it.)

That is just how I look right now. Actually, I am a little better today. I got stung by a yellow jacket because I was trying to fill the nest with dirt with a shovel. The bees didn’t like that very much! My mom couldn’t even recognize me when she saw me!!!! I hope your sister is better now!
